Beekeeper visits the library
Submitted by soda on June 25, 2008 - 7:03pm.
Alan Brown
No worries. The library is not being invaded by beings from another world. The library hosted Alan Brown, a local Soda Springs beekeeper, on one of the Summer Reading Days. In the picture above Alan shows the kids a honeycomb. He explained that bees work to pollinate the plants that produce many of the foods we eat. The kids really enjoyed his presentation!
Afterwords, the kids made bug magnets and ate bread with honey.
