After two weeks of cold, wet weather, the sun finally shone! Even so, we have some great attendance. Thanks to a generous donation from Monsanto, the kids have won great prizes and made some really fun crafts. This week the kids were able to do a craft project outside painting dragonflies.

Make plans to stop by the annual 4th of July Book Sale! This event is held just outside the library and you can expect to find great buys on many popular authors. Be sure to look for the pressed wildflower cards, plant sale, and book bags. This is a fun fundraiser for the library and we appreciate all the support the local community provides.

The library is currently accepting donations to either add to our collection or to place in the sale.

The latest book by Stephenie Meyer has arrived at the library. We have 3 copies plus the audio cd book. There's already a waiting list, so hurry in to reserve a copy.

The movie comes out Dec 12, 2008 for those that are counting down the days.
